Tomorrow At Noon (Sci-Fi London 48 Hour Film Challenge 2014) - ShortFilm

Another year, another 48 hour sci-fi challenge. We put out the call, and the North West Avengers answered...

Last year, the intrepid Chris Lane and I put out a last minute call, to gather the North West's finest film-making heroes, and assemble them into a team that could take part in the annual Sci-Fi London 48 Hour Film Challenge.

This year, we did it again. The call was made, Heroes responded, and we knocked it out of the park. The end results of 48 hours of graft, an average of 3 hours sleep per crew member, and a combined cast and crew of over 30 people, is our Sci-Fi film for 2014, TOMORROW AT NOON.

With thanks to the mighty Filmonik Kino Manchester group, we were allowed to use their fantastic new Kino Filmonik HQ in the center of Manchester as our base of operations for this film.

EVERY SINGLE MEMBER of the NORTH WEST AVENGERS was crucial to getting this film complete. No matter your role, you were needed, you were (are) valued, and you WILL be called upon again.

Rather than type reams of text thanking everyone here (does anyone even read this blog?) I will thank you all personally when next our paths cross, hopefully at the wrap party... For now, please find the credits list, and please let me know which LINKS to add next to your name to send people reading this to the right websites for you all.

Thanks again, and please stay tuned for the EXTENDED CUT which will see all of the Extra's who assembled for Sunday's shoot have their scenes inserted into the film. Unfortunately, for this edit, the 5 minutes was really brutal on us, and we lost a lot of material in the cutting room floor to make this deadline. I hope you all agree though that this 5 minute entry is tight, succinct and creates a believable Sci-Fi world with a very human story at its heart. I am incredibly proud of this film, and I hope you are too.

Until next time Avengers!
