In this episode, the BBC Blue Room team takes a look at Snapchat.

The app is almost ten years old and is increasingly popular amongst younger audiences, famous for its augmented reality face-filters, and is becoming an ever-more influential place for brands to promote themselves and their wares. 

However, Snapchat often escapes the scrutiny shared by other social media apps such as Facebook, TikTok, Twitter and YouTube. Why is that? We fire up the app and dig in to find out some of the reasons why this might be.
